New JDHT Parts & Service DVDs
JDHT recently released new DVD versions of the Parts & Service CD-ROMs they've sold for several years. Unlike the former CDs, these DVD will work with the later version of Windows, including Vista and Windows 7, and will also run on Intel Macs running Windows.
These DVDs are the only currently-available source of parts and service information on the cars featured, as the paper versions are long out of print.

Remanufactured Jaguar Blower Assemblies for 1982-96 XJ-S and 1988-94 XJ40
Coventry West is now remanufacturing Jaguar XJ40 and XJ-S blower motors. These units feature brand-new more powerful motors assemblies, new more efficient squirrel-cage blower fans, all new more durable foam padding, new internal relays, and a twelve-month unlimited mileage warranty.
Blower cores are disassembled and the original motors are replaced with a new motor assembly, a new high-efficiency aluminum cage fan is installed (replacing the original plastic fan), all deteriorated internal foam is replaced, all relays are replaced with new parts, vacuum actuators are checked, and circuit boards and electronics are fully tested.
Coventry West remanufactured blowers are $325.00 each exchange, plus a $150 core deposit (refunded upon receipt your undamaged core blower unit).
BBS Wheel Trim Rings
In recent years, a number of the BBS-supplied Jaguar optional wheels featured bright stainless steel trim rings. Unfortunately, these trim rings are easily damaged by being "curbed" and until now, getting damaged trim rings replaced has been almost impossible.
Coventry West is pleased to announce that replacement trim rings for 18-inch and 20-inch BBS wheels are now available.
The 18-inch trim fits these wheel models: Indianapolis (S-Type, X-Type), Monaco (S-Type), Milan (XJ, XK).
The 20-inch trim fits Detroit (XK), Paris (XK), Perseus (XK), Sepang (XK, XJ), and Montreal (XK).
The '99-02 Jaguar S-Types are pretty notorious for breaking the plastic shifter cam part of the automatic shifter assembly, to the extent that Jag keeps running out of replacement parts! Here's a high quality aluminum and steel repair part that will never break again. Simple installation. And for a LOT less money than Jaguar gets for the shifter assembly. (Jaguar does not supply the cam by itself, only the assembly.)
Jaguar hoses can be hard to find, as usually the local auto parts store doesn't stock them. Coventry West's hose kits are the way to go: most of them are attractively priced. If you need just one hose, buy the full kit, install the hose you need, and place the remaining hoses in your trunk. You'll save the cost of a tow some day!
